How is the test Structured?
All four sections of the test; Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking are completed on the same day. The speaking test however, will remain face to face with a trained IELTS examiner.
Computer-delivered IELTS:
- Faster results – 5 business days
- More test dates – Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays
- Listening section with headphones
- Speaking test still face-to-face with an examiner
Paper-based IELTS include:
- Results – 13 calendar days after the test
- Test dates available three times per month (Saturdays)
- Ability to write on paper for Listening, Reading and Writing
- Centralized audio system for the Listening part of the exam
- Speaking done face-to-face with an examiner
- Convenient locations within GTA: downtown and uptown Toronto, North York, Scarborough and Richmond Hill.
- We are also testing now in Mississauga.
